With warehouses in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, plus two manufacturing facilities producing sanding belts and discs in Perth and Melbourne, Abrasiflex carries significant stock depth to ensure prompt, reliable supply. The company is the exclusive Australian agent for Deerfos coated abrasive and for Panblast abrasive blasting equipment, as well being a leading distributor of 3M abrasives. Established in 1980 and based in Jandakot, Western Australia, Caddy Industrial Sales has become WA’s leading supplier of construction support systems. The business focuses exclusively on the support hardware that keeps construction projects running — strut channel, pipe supports, pipe fittings, electrical cable tray and conduit systems, HVAC duct hardware, fire protection components, fasteners, and meter boxes.

Caddy serves electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and fire protection contractors directly, as well as the wholesale partners who support them. An in-house fabrication facility handles cut grooving, roll grooving, welding and pipe cutting to custom lengths. As an authorised Victaulic agent, Caddy also provides specialist grooved mechanical joining solutions for fire and industrial piping systems.

IWD commenced operations in the mid-1960s, when a group of wool exporters and buyers recognised an opportunity created by the introduction of containerisation to Australia. The challenge was straightforward: farm-packed wool bales, as delivered, did not make efficient use of container space. IWD’s answer was compression — and it has been refining that process ever since.

Operating from the woolstores complex at Bibra Lake, IWD is today one of the largest wool dumping and containerisation operations in the southern hemisphere. Using high density wool presses IWD is able to pack up to 108 bales per 20’ container, achieving full utilisation of container space. The cost and efficiency advantages for wool exporters are substantial.

Every bale that passes through the facility is tracked individually using IWD’s proprietary Ezimark system — a robotic auto-marking unit that sprays countermarks in clear, scourable ink onto each bale after dumping, linked to a laser scanning unit and computerised database. From receival to final containerisation and dispatch to the Port of Fremantle, no bale is lost in the system.
